    Proofpoint Console

    1. Navigate to Settings > Connected Applications
    2. Click Create New Credential
    3. Name the new credential set and click Generate
    4. Copy the Service Principal and Secret to a notepad

     

    Precinct Configuration

    • Go to Admin > SOAR > Proofpoint Protect (Threat Insights) > Config
    • Click the checkbox for Enable Proofpoint Threat Response Integration
    • Paste the Service Principal, Secret
    • Click the disk icon (Save)
    • Click Jobs and go to Artifacts from Proofpoint.
    • Select Triggers, expanding Manual Trigger and Interval Trigger. 
      • Toggle both to State: ENABLED
    • The Interval Trigger is set to 2 hours by default, but you can update it to what best suits your organization. (Recommended: 30 minutes)
    • Click the disk icon (Save)
